About Team Maxon

Hi! My name is Maxon and i have ARID1B-RD Syndrome. I found out through genetic testing last year that I have a random genetic copy error which is de novo (not inherited from my parents). You might notice I have a cool hearing aid, orthotics, distinct coarse facial features and that I'm just a little peanut even though I'm already 4 years old. I also have global developmental delays and I'm on my own timeline with learning. These are all conditions associated with ARID1B-RD Syndrome. My fundraiser will help with new research and hopefully there will be a treatment to help me and others in the near future.
